After formal training in the European art tradition in The Netherlands and France, Jeanne started working in themes and paints in mixed media using acrylics, oil paint, encaustic techniques, collage and printing methods.
With a strong sense of colour she creates paintings, tactile compositions, that are peaceful yet full of movement, subtle yet powerful.
A great deal of Jeanne’s work is sold at exhibitions but individuals and corporations have also commissioned her. Over the years many of Jeanne’s paintings have found a home in Europe, North America, Australia, South Africa and Japan.
Besides her teaching hours at Emily Carr Institute, Coal Harbour Community Centre and others, one can find her at the Salt Water Studio, an inspiring place where she creates her art.
